We are looking forward to holding concerts in Wesley of Warragul when the COVID-19 embargo is lifted whenever that might be.

Meanwhile we have some exciting news which includes:

  • the repair of the western wall fronting Victoria Street.  We were fortunate to receive $8,000 from Bendigo Bank towards crack repairs and a repaint of the wall which will take place next summer. This will be a welcoming face for the old building.

  • a new broader style of concert presentation.

  • new opportunities for back room hire.

Concerts planned include those cancelled when the embargo hit:

  • Simply Music’s Robert Stolz Society, A Sunday Afternoon in Vienna

  • Joan Evans, cello, Bach Alone

  • West Gippsland Chorale

  • Julia Hastings, Piano

  • Latrobe Chorale

  • Brian Chapman, Piano and Nathan Lay, Baritone

  • Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, Sheer Bliss

  • Latrobe Chorale

  • Ken Schroder, Jazz

Even with the lockdown weddings remain popular with five attending. Check out some of the lovely minimalist photos!

A beautiful tradition continued when Renee Patrick recently married Jordan Kitts becoming the fourth generation in her family to marry in Wesley.  We wish all our newly married couples Wesley Blessings!
